I started to use a systemic upon the advice of a nurseryman. It was called Marathon and came in grain/small pellet form that you sprinkled on top of soil and then water. I have been thinking of using again but can't find it since having moved in and out of 2 states. It was awfully expensive and I can't imagine throwing it out during the moves...I may have to start taking down some of the names you all have put out but i am like Lynn, I don't want stuff that has fertilizer in it. I wont even buy soil with fertilizer in it because I want to control the fertilizing agent, method and amount.
