The 1 acre yard is really nice. I do have a lot of room for hostas, although at least 2/3rds of the yard is in full sun. Still, there are a lot of nice dappled shade spots, and some that should work out okay for more sun-tolerant cultivars. The largest area I have to plant will get a nice dose of morning sun, followed by a little early evening sun in the summer. I'm happy about that, because many of my hostas here at my existing house haven't put on as much size as I would have liked because I'm in fairly deep shade.
