We have a great many year round "regulars" here, and a few others that only hang out through the winter. These are some shots I took while outside today.

And ... a pair of hawks were flying overhead today with their distinctive call. These pictures are a bit grainy because of the distance but I think this is a Red-shouldered Hawk:
