Wow. Thanks everyone! I think everyone should have a log planter. I have seen them in magazines similar to mine and was inspired to find one. My Dad has a stump in his yard planted with Oenothera speciosa. I know that plant spreads, but it is beautiful in log/stump planters. He also has a hollow tree that he planted Delosperma cooperi in that he stood up like the grew in the ground there and died. I will get some photos when it blooms.
