Seeing that beautiful Woodpecker must be a wonderful experience! We don't have them down here and I'd never heard of that one until I saw a photo you posted awhile back ... it's such a pretty WP!

Here are two pictures I took this evening. I love when I can get shots of birds in the shrubs or trees and I'm loving my new camera with it's more powerful zoom so I don't scare the birds away when trying to take their picture. This Mockingbird was perched in the weeping bottlebrush tree and the dove was in a dead cypress tree:
