The Denver Metro has been totally butt-kicking freezing for the past few days. We're talking highs in the teens and lows in the negatives with Wind Chill Warnings of -25 through -50 in some areas. Luckily for me, in my little suburb, it hasn't been THAT cold, but it's been cold. We got hit with a powder snowstorm on Thursday that made everything very pretty with the white. But, because it was a powder snow-storm, it was SOOOOOOOOO frickin' cold that no one really wanted to go out & play in it. Including myself. LOL!

Anyways, on Saturday Jan 1, we went to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science (www.dmns.org) and, while taking a break on the 2nd floor, took some beautiful pictures overlooking Ferril Lake in City Park. This is downtown Denver on a cold snowy morning.
