Carey - Actually, as evil as GB is (see this thread:
http://cubits.org/roses/thread...) just have your dogs run back & forth through the canes and it should deshed them. LOL!!!
GB is pretty common to find. Should be able to find him like almost at a Home Depot/Lowes... also any LGS should carry him. If you have problems, I can pick one up locally & ship it to you.
