One of my Golden Masterpieces has grown about to 6" this spring from the bare ground.. the old canes got broken down to the dirt due to the dogs. Sunny Delite & Sunsprite are also awake and putting out leaves as well. I'm even shocked that my Julia Child, who was not a strong rose last year, is putting out growth, also from the bare dirt (well, bare mulch). Strike it Rich survived being transplanted, then ignored (unwatered) for almost a month and is putting out growth....
