I was about to post this on the ID needed forum when it suddenly came to me that it's a Veronicastrum virginicum I thought I had killed about 5 years ago. I must have left a tiny piece of the root in the ground and it's returned looking big and healthy. Guess I will go ahead and let it bloom. If I remember right, I tried to kill it because it seemed to be a magnet for bees and bugs plus the flowers didn't last very long but I'm going to give it another chance. Anyone grow it?Thumb of 2013-05-07/stilldew/a3e9f4
