This is growing in zone 8 north central Fl. & the photos were taken in the last day or two. The shrubs are deciduous -- I know that. The blooms have a wonderful sweet scent & are reminiscent of what ligustrum blooms smell like. A pretty powerful fragrance for such tiny blooms. There is no irrigation there & it's way too far for any hose to reach so these are mighty tough shrubs! Other than a little bit of high shade for an hour or two per day these shrubs get beat up by full sun from dawn till dark.
These tiny blooms are snow white & are so small my camera is not able to get close up enough to show all the detail. The blooms have 4 petals. In the photo I chose a strange growth of all green (throwback) to show the blooms to better advantage as they get washed out against the variegation.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
