Mike - WAHAHAHAH! I wish you could get a video of that.. it definitely would go viral in a heartbeat! And what giant black bees? Only black "bees" I know of (or I've seen) are these icky wasp-looking insects that look totally evil, but I don't kill them because I don't know if they're "good" or "bad". I leave 'em all alone for the most part except for hornets.. I'll take out a hornet in a heartbeat as I don't need/want a 5th hornets nest next to my house again!

And I see why I'm getting so many ladybugs (well, not enough to suit me, personally).. I've got aphids again. Bleh.

EDIT: Did a 3 second google search, looks like my black wasps are actually Sphex pennsylvanicus, Giant Black Wasps. And I was right to fear them, they've got a pretty nasty sting. But I still won't kill them as they eat grasshoppers & caterpillers, which is good for me. Less grasshoppers means less of my roses will get eaten! http://en.allexperts.com/q/Ent...
Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet...
