Native Plants and Wildflowers Dog Lover Ferns Daylilies Irises Cat Lover
Spring has been a long time coming - and just now the irises are what I would call full bloom. I am so late planting veggies I'm worrying that we'll hit another drought or something and I'll have nothing. Guess that's what pots are for. So yes, rainy here too and today was downright chilly.

I fought getting a dog for the longest time, but now that I've had her for about 6 weeks, I don't know what I did without her. Best dog ever! I sure lucked out with her.

She even dug up the runners beneath the wisteria 'tree' for me. I started my usual pulling them up and wrapping them around the trunk and she watched for a minute then by golly, she started digging. Got it all done in no time. So far, so good with letting her dig in only specific places. Although I did find a rhizome of some sort in the middle of the front yard. Looked a little like an Iris, but I laid it aside where irises already live and forgave her this one time.

Get a dog, Shoe. Nothin' better than a gardenin' dog.
Best thing I ever did!
