Skiekitty, I agree I resolved to do the same about a decade ago. I've succeded with several from there and was glad to have them, but my batting average with Heirloom was probably not 14%. If I ever get good at growing plants in a container, I will probably consider them for the rare rose that they have, but that cannot be found elsewhere. And then I will grow the rose for a full year before planting it out. Otherwise rabbits, voles, deer, and other nibbling varmints will almost surely make a quick end of it.

Lyda Rose might be one of those I would choose. I'd love to hear your impression of it, Stephanie.
