so...5 weeks ago today I drove 1 hr each way to get myself 2 goose goslings. These are Sebastopol goose goslings. I've drooled over them for over a year. Took me forever and a lot of googling to find someone within 100 kms that had them.

It has been so much fun watching them grow up. Boy, do they grow fast!!

When I brought them home, 1 week old. They lived in a box in the closet under a heat lamp.

Dearest Hubby built me a pen for them that can be moved around the yard.

Almost 4 weeks old and getting a hug from Dad.

5 weeks old, feathers starting to come in. That gangly, awkward, teenage stage. Their wings are too heavy and droop and they're forever having to hike them back up.

(Thanks Debbie, I about wet myself when you posted that caption!!)

They spend all day outside in their pen and come in the house at night. I had to buy a baby play pen for them and they can look over the sides if they stand on their tippy-toes. I love them dearly.
