Jackson & Perkins was famous for doctoring its photos too. I remember seeing something on the Web where someone demonstrated exactly how J&P had taken a photo of a small cluster of roses and repeated it all over a tree rose, so that you couldn't even see the foliage. I was impressed by the photo initially, but a closer look made it obvious that it was the same cluster over and over again -- like wallpaper.
