I'll finish out the May thread and hopefully someone will begin a new one for the month of June?
The baby Mockingbird was perched in a Hibiscus shrub this morning; it's since moved across the yard and is now in my next door neighbor's Ligustrum shrubbery. I'm assuming it must be fluttering for short distances. The parents are continually trying to coax it to other locations higher in the trees and one of the two adults is busy building another nest in a tree next to my deck!
