I usually start out with a vague idea of bed structure for specific plants like daylilies, but after that it usually comes down to, "Hmm, I have a space there, let's see if it grows." And I have been privileged to be the beneficiary of mamajack's generosity, so I have had many more options than might otherwise have been the case. After shuffling plants around, and losing more than a few to neglect or ignorance, things are shaping up pretty well this year. Lovey dubby It's fun to watch.
