I apologize - I should have said "not from a polymerous bloom" Big Grin - I won't know until I grow these seeds out and they bloom if there are any polys in the group.

This is the first year that I have had these types of pods and they are numerous (40%?) - but only 2 cultivars are throwing these.It gets more complex, too, but I am not sure if I can explain what is happening clearly. But... here goes:

I have 7 pots of one of these cultivars and 3 of the 7 are setting these odd pods (along with 4 chambered pods (8 sections). The other 4 pots all have normal pods - the standard 3 chambers, 6 sections - and not a single odd pod shows up in them. So given this and the fact that all of them set normal pods in the past makes me believe that it is not cultivar related (plus another cultivar has started setting these odd ones, too). We have some theories floating about in the house but I was wondering what everyone here thought.
