I know because I have this rose hedge which borders my little bit of semp yard from the sidewalk, and from the sidewalk it feels thicker and more private than it actually is, and several times I've heard people make "less than friendly comments" about the amount of time I am spending looking at my plants, or taking photos 
I just laugh, I know I'm a "Semp head"
