Has anyone grown tulips from seed? I tried it two years in a row now, last year nothing, this year quite a few sprouted. I planted tulipa sprengeri and was pleased with this years germination but now all the seedlings are dying off. I have been watering the pots so they weren't completely dry and now they have all died off. I wasn't really expecting them to go dormant already and I hope that's all that has happened to them. Anybody have experience with seedling tulips? Do they always go dormant like this?
