Glad I stumbled on this thread, I'm trying the two-crop system with my tomatoes. The first bunch are 5+ feet tall and tomatoes starting to pink up,red is coming. (Or in the case of Mr Stripey red and yellow.)
Just started some tomato seedlings for my second crop: Sarkharnyi Zheltyl. Anyone ever heard of this? It's an Eastern European type of large yellow tomato. I've just started trying different kinds, for many years I just grew Parks Whopper but now I'm branching out. Will have to try Kellogg's Breakfast next.
Dave do you grow your second crop of tomatoes in the same dirt as the first?
