I have several different varieties of spider and I agree they love to be pot bound, at least mine do. I have plain green, variegated and reverse variegated. Someone just sent me one they call Curley. They look the same as the variegated but are real curley. I began with one little plant and that plant must be 10 years old. I thought it would die several times but it is still going strong.
