I know many of us have been mentioning strange things happening with plants, scapes and blooms in some of the other threads so I thought it would be interesting to start a thread dedicated to that. Feel free to add your own!

Personally, I have quite a few which is not terribly surprising coming on the heels of the drought last summer; a long, cold spring; and late freezes here.

I have a good number of stunted scapes with some being only 4 - 6 inches tall and buds that are nearly that long! I have noticed many more fused blooms thus far. I have had 1 in the past 3 years and I already have had 4 with another set to bloom in a few days. Several blooms have extra pistil material that branches off about 2/3 the way up. I pollinated one on LILLIAN'S LIES AND ALIBIS and an otherwise normal, 3 petal flower generated a 4 lobed pod. Every bloom I have seen thus far on WEB OF ILLUSION while beautiful has completely lacked a pistil altogether. Finally, the oddest of all, I noticed one plant has put up two extremely short scapes both from the same fan and both with a single bud.
