Your not dense,It takes some patience and I resisted for awhile but once yhou Get-it .Its the only way to fly.
Here is my take on the Webapps.
If you take long views of your garden or have an image of a grouping aka your photo of echies, You can "tag" each plant in the photo.
Tagging is easier if you access the plant database or even easier if you make a list of all your garden plants.It took me the better part of a day.BUT with your list you can open a separate window and copy and past from your list.
OR you can just write the plant name in the window that opens.
Its extra steps I know but so much easier to refer people who want a plant name from your photo.
If you post the same photo on several threads in separate forums , you get asked the same question over again from gardeners accessing the thread.
I refer questions to my webapp image and they can get the plant names for ALL the tagged plants in the image.
It is worth the effort and time.
