North Shore Of Long Island, NY here. Some years I am ambitious and plant for Fall, others years not so much.

I do sugar snap pears most years. In fact those get planted at the end of July. Tomatoes usually produce here till end of September, maybe later. Then they are done till new ones next spring.

But Brocolli can be started for a fall crops, many types of greens also And I already have my area fixed up to plant turnips at the end of the month.
