Yes, I was surprised too and also a little scared. But I will keep the seeds and plants outside, also I have no pets. I did read that each plant can put off a million seeds, so they could end up in the grass and everywhere so if the dogs eat grass like most dogs do then they could digest some seeds. Maybe not a good idea for people with pets.
I am more worried after reading the article again because it might be invasive here and a million seeds would be hard to deal with. Also if I casually pull a weed not knowing it is a foxglove seedling I could break out in hives. I am really wondering if this plant is even worth it, I have never seen them around here so maybe there is a good reason for that. I will check with the cooperative extension first.
