My gold heufelliis, 'Gold Bug' and 'Xanthoheuf" have gone green but several of the S. cantabricum forms have gone yellow-ish or maybe I should say pale green, like S. calcareum 'Limelight'.

Several of the seedling heufelliis that are descended from 'Correvon's Form' are showing yellow color and others are very grass green, like the way that 'Xanthoheuf' goes in summer, so I'm anticipating some nice golds and yellows in these groups. Bill Nixon had said that 'Correvon's Form' (we knew it as 'Palaisii' in those days) often threw gold seedlings. These seedlings are the F3 from that plant but it is interesting that the tendency to throw golds has passed down to its non-yellow descendants. I'm hoping that these will take after their parents and be better growers than 'Xanthoheuf' (admittedly the bar is rather low!!).
