Ilex verticillata 'Red Sprite' (Aquifoliaceae) is a dwarf winterberry with big red berries. Keep in mind if you decide to buy a winterberry, that they need a pollinator. I have one Jim Dandy and about 5 females, I think JD can pollinate up to 20 females. That is probably why they call him, 'Jim Dandy.'
