I just changed an entry on page 5 of my list, and these are the steps I used:
In my list I found the one I wanted (it was on page 5)
Then I right clicked on the edit icon for that entry
In the box that came up I chose open in new window
I made my changes
Clicked save changes
Closed that window
...and once the window closed I was right back on page 5.
