Karen, the dried Kale for the power drink sounds like a fabulous plan. Since you have so much you can dry enough to last you all winter. And kale is supposed to be so very good for you.

I trued growing kale last year as I never had it before. Found out I absolutely hated it. So not growing kale again this year. Tried mustard greens this year and didn't like them either. Pulled them all and will not be planting them again either.

Other than the lettuce that is commonly grown my favorite greens to grow is Bok Choy. I just love the taste of bok choy.

Celeste, I tried Hales Best once and never did get a fruit. Have not tried those other two you are growing. The one I am growing is Sugar Cube from Burpee that I found as seedlings at my local nursery.

So next year I intend to plant quite a few different types of melons including bringing back the Sugar Cube melons I am growing this year.
