Jelinda, step away from the fertilizer. That will not give you the results you desire. It is sun, heat, water and TIME that will give you the results you desire. As with most plant except weeds. First and second year plants establish the 3rd year they leap and continue to increase.

You are not going to be able to rush the plants by adding fertilizer. We have had way too much rain and not enough sun this year. It was good weather to take cuttings and sticking them in the ground to root though.

I call them my children. It takes time for the children to become adults.
