They are so thick what you could do is break a couple of limbs off next Spring and complete your circle across the back. They root good from a stem as you already know. If you see Matrona pick it up it is the tallest in my garden. The leaves have some maroon in them.

Now that I mentioned Matrona I have to goo see if I still have that one I do not remember seeing it this year. Wait I will be back. I am going to go take some pics.
