Here she is after surgery.Luckily i wasn't able to just pull her out of the ground she was well rooted!! I removed all soft,wrinkled leaves until i came to stiff solid meaty leaves!!

Poor moma is almost as small as the babies,can she handle it or should some of them that have rooted be at least cut loose??
