Wildflowers,
This is the 2nd summer that I’ve noticed that we’ve had them.
So far, just like last summer they didn’t do anything (but reproduce) and didn’t change from the way they look in the pics.
I figured that they were just supposed to look cute-n-fuzzy like that.
They start w/ a bud and then get fuzzy, nothing else happens to them besides that process.
I did Google and also Bing’d images of Fleabane weeds and did find the exact replicas of the pics I’d taken and have growing in the yard.
However some of the pics I found on the net were much taller and these are shorter.
Who knows, perhaps if we’d of had more rain during the time they were left standing they may have grown taller.
I don’t think they are Clematis or Bachelor Buttons.
Wildflowers, I almost positive that you were “spot on” w/ your 1st response. Thumbs up
