Yep, it's corn. Squirrels plant corn in my container plants every spring.

And as for it being exotic...well, it is in your gardens, right? Big Grin

I have some growing in one of my flowerbeds, too. It's supposed to be an ornamental variety, but as of yet it just looks a bit smaller than most.
