Thank you for all the direction Janet. The leaves definitely do not have any tomato smell. I know what you mean about the trifoliate leaves although I noticed not all of them are truncated as some come to a point. I don't know what it could be in the Solanaceae family. Thinking out loud, I didn't grow any eggplant this year and can't think of any with similar leaves.

I did think maybe as it matures, the leaf structure might change again, as that is what it looked like the sesame plant does is some (though not very many) of the pics I looked at.

May need to wait a little longer to see what happens. Shrug!
