Thanks for sharing how you root your plants. I feel a bit more optimistic about trying again. I've killed off at least 15-20 cuttings and young plants over the last few years. Some of the cuttings were free from a contest I won on BGI, and I had a few plants that I ordered from vendors that were small, and they didn't survive my torture.

It's amazing that I have plants that survive our winters in the ground, and come back from the roots, yet plants that live in my warm basement for the winter don't make it Angry I will be taking cuttings of Michele O., Klein Lady, and Angel's Honeymoon. I'm going to hold off on ordering any new plants, since we're heading into the low to mid 50's in the next week. I'll have to start taking in the tropical plants in pots inside in the next few weeks.

BTW, your advice is worth waayyyy more than 2 cents! I always find it helpful to learn from the experience of others.
