I believe these are summer tanager females. this is the first time I've been able to get a photo of them although they have been here all summer. I have not been able to spy a male. But today just before I took these photos there was one that looked the same size & shape & bill shape as these photos only it was bright orange; I saw it's underparts clearly but not it's back & it was gone before I could grab the camera. I think it might be the red morph female but can't be sure until I see it & all of it again.
