LOL, I guess my southern roots run deep too because at 65 years (young) Green Grin! I've been barefoot the majority of my life. My feet are pretty tough and I guess I should consider myself very lucky cause I've never had a problem with hookworms, spider bites, snakes etc. When I was @ 12 years old I did cut my foot badly which required 14 or so stitches. I was jumping on a friends pogo stick barefoot and the rubber foot pegs had worn off to the bare metal. Sad
~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt!
~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot!
