That's what the Carolina wrens do Rita. They really have pretty songs & sing a lot but then they have a chirp thing & that's fine but like you say..... if anything bothers them you can't miss hearing that loud scolding! I don't think I've ever hear any birds who can scold like wrens can. Hilarious! Hilarious! If we knew what they were saying, it would probably burn our ears.
