Fall hurries along like leaves in the drive, headed for some important appointment.
Stan has two fields of hay down here at home. He and Jess unloaded the load from Melissa's last night so the wagons are all empty again. I heard him tell a friend yesterday that, yes he did say he'd quit milking when he was 62, but he still has a few months left. Actually, 6 months, but who's counting?
I've got a rayon scarf sitting in vinegar to set the goldenrod dye. The rayon comes out very pastel.
Off to get breakfast ready. Mom has an eye appointment this morning and I'm her driver.
