What's your source, Christine? Many of my sources have been shut down by the government shutdown, but Catalogue of Life lists Poterion sanguisorbens as a synonym for Sanguisorba minor, but no Poterium sanguisorba.

I see that The Plant List agrees with you, but its information is dated 1753, and most of the Poterium sanguisorba subspecies have been reclassified as synonyms of Sanguisorba verrucosa, so I'm hesitant to make the change without another source.
