It's really hard to tell, but I think I see a big bulb hiding under those leaves, they look semi dormant already, I'm guess they wanted more feed and water in the warm season.
Do just as drew said, I would divide them until spring, not now.
They really want lots of heat, when they get that they wants lots of water and fertilizer!
I'm having trouble making out exactly what plant it is!
