I thought I'd share a photo of my favorite little Gesneriad. I've grown other Gessies in the past (African Violets, Episcia, Sinningia etc.) but this is one of the easiest in my opinion. I can't remember how I acquired this little plant, it was either from a trade on DG or an order from the Violet Barn website. I've had it about 7 years and it's one of my all time favorite little miniature plants. In the past I've grown it in a terrarium with overhead light and on a plant stand with overhead lights but for the past four or five years it remains on a tabletop that receives filtered light from a south facing window. It blooms off and on all year with soil kept slightly moist and rare fertilizer. Meet ....
