Well I will say I had a time with bulbs this year! I always said I was terrible at them. I did have many that rotted and molded. I think I watered them to Oblivion!! I had Dichelostemma ida-maia in a container. To later read... they like it dry *Blush* . So I dug in the pots to find them mush and moldy...ooops! I over watered the Lord lieutenant anemone and holliandia. But saved some and they are emerging. The ground is best for bulbs in my opinion... Sad I also found that the ones doing the best were refrigerated for 4 months..
