Debbie, spring bulbs like to be dry during their summer dormancy, and hot and dry is just fine with them. Tulips are especially particular about this, while Daffodils and to some degree Hyacinths are more tolerant of summer moisture. Tulips are also more demanding of a cold treatment too. So here's what I would do:
- remove the bulbs from the soil and allow them to dry. (I would likely go ahead and plant the Daffodils, but it would be fine to store them too)
-store them where it is warm and dry, with good air circulation.
-for the Tulips, I believe I'd go ahead and try cooling them, since they're already dug. I would refrigerate them for 6-8 weeks, probably through September and October.
-the Hyacinths I think I would plant this fall without worrying with cooling. There's a DG member in California, zone 9, experimenting with several varieties and having excellent return from many.

And your potted bulb display was so pretty! Are you setting the pots of Lilies where you're considering planting them? Once they're in bloom I love to do that, and get a good idea how its going to look in the spot.

Charlene, your red, white, and blue display is gorgeous! Great use of potted bulbs!
