Can you view 'thumbnails" of your photos on your computer, without using any particular application like "Kodak Easy Share"to view them?
On my OS (Windows) I can change the "Folder View" to "Thumbnails" and see the photos "bareback" and know which ones are actually rotated.
Or viewing individual photos with "Microsoft Office 2010" shows me which are (really) rotated. I'm not sure what the equivalent would be in your operating system.
