Copy-pasting the same msg txt from Windows / IE7 , I get this:

P.S. I went back and added parenthesis around the first to smilies, after typing the msg and Previewing. When I left no space between the parenthesis and the colons in the smiley codes, the smilies did not show up (only the text codes).
Like this - (:confused:)
I'm guessing that is how it's expected to work.

And when I try to click on a smily from It's Execreble 7, I get no smily-code at all.
Which is about what I expect from IE, let alone IE7.
But the rest of the site is surprisingly readable with IE7!
