Well, Lynn and Peter, I didn't buy any memorial urns like the ones that hubby snapped photos of at the Pere La Charse Cemetary. But I did pick these small ones up because they were compact and light to fit into luggage and most importantly they were affordable:

Now, my Paris trip time didn't allow for me to see all that Paris had to offer. The City of Light IS certainly both visually and gastronomically distracting. When not distracted, I did manage to hit several museums, a few botanical parks, 7 plant stores and numerous restaurants and bakeries. I also wandered on foot through 7 neighborhoods and didn't climb onto the metro until Day 9 when I wanted to visited the Greenhouses of Auteuil. I know I missed a lot of sights (and sites) but after a while, vacationing was starting to become tiring for me!

Anyway, the following images caught my eye in Paris and ended up on my iPhone before I got home:

Lastly, here's my San Franciscan photo version of the Eiffel Tower. It was hard to decide how low to place the fog over the Tower to replicate the vision of the Golden Gate Bridge shrouded in fog. NOT!...just kidding about that. I would never photoshop/tamper with the Eiffel Tower. Anyway I thought it looked charming this way and so never bothered to go any closer to visit it.
