Stush, you're right about the plants found on the clearance racks. I saw a pot of the same syngonium today and I can't believe that I actually walked away and left it. It seems that at Lowes, if a plant doesn't sell in a certain amount of time, they'll mark it down. They're usually fine, unless they've watered them to death. If they get new stock and not a lot of room for both the new and old or if a plant goes out of bloom, it gets marked down. When I see a plant that I like, I usually wait a few weeks for the blooms to fade and get it off the clearance rack. I've been in Lowes when they've gotten 2 orders of the same plants arrive at the same time, have limited space and mark gallon size pots to $1 or $2 just to get rid of them. I've got to stay away from Lowes.
